Adult Sunday School

Your walk in faith is a life-long journey. Grace United Methodist Church (GUMC) offers a variety of opportunities for adults to engage in Christian education on Sunday mornings. All classes meet from 10:00a.m. to 10:45 a.m. On Fifth Sundays, all Sunday School classes meet together for special programs at 10:30am for refreshments and a special program. We invite you to visit our classes and find one that fits you.

Young Adult Sunday School Class

This class consists of adults, both men and women, of all ages. The curriculum is determined by class member ideas and suggestions, including the use of video lessons from various sources. The format of the class is often an open discussion where all members contribute different ideas. The class meets Sunday mornings at 10:00am in the Church Parlor. The Young Adult Class supports several projects within the church, including Secret Santa and the Salkahatchie project.

On July 2nd, the Young Adult Class will begin a study entitled “Drive Through History - The Gospels”. It is a highly rated video series with a zany host going to historically significant sites in Israel. This study will be very informative for everyone but especially for those who are contemplating our trip to the Holy Land in January 2018. All adults are invited to attend this study!
